We LOVE giving teacher workshops! While Cyber Civics is entirely turnkey, many schools want an in-person overview of the curriculum so they can experience how easy and fun it is to teach. Workshops are often scheduled in conjunction with a parent presentation and/or a student lesson. Cyber Civics enrolled schools always get reduced rate.
We've presented to all kinds of groups across the U.S. (from CA to DC) at big venues (Twitter headquarters, MetLife Stadium) and small (all sorts of schools). Presentations are engaging, informative, and most of all, leave attendees saying 'I can do this!' when it comes to raising and teaching digital kids! Cyber Civics enrolled schools always get presentations at a reduced rate!
New for 2019!
With the release of the book— RAISING HUMANS IN A DIGITAL WORLD: HELPING KIDS BUILD A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH TECHNOLOGY (HarperCollins Leadership/Jan. '19)—comes a brand new presentation for schools, delivered by Cyber Civics founder Diana Graber:
RAISING HUMANS IN A DIGITAL WORLD (90 min. presentation)
-Why raising humans in a digital age is like a building a house!
-How to help kids gain the social-emotional skills they will need in a digital world.
-What are the four most important digital skills (and how to teach them)?
-What are kids actually doing online (and how you can stay a step ahead)?
-How to help kids maximize the promise (and avoiding the pitfalls) of the digital world.
-Includes a q&a session and a participatory lesson from the Cyber Civics curriculum.
